about Tamsin

BA Hons Fine Art, Exeter

Tamsin has three current collections. Although each is very different from the other, they all share a sense of quiet and serenity. The first are large floral panels, often painted on vintage silk, and bespoke murals. Her work is very classical, inspired by late 17th Century Chinoiserie and her love of flowers.

The second is 'The China Collection' of highly detailed paintings of fine porcelain. Moving away from her floral work she demonstrates her painting technique with everyday genderless objects such as plates and tea cups. Each one has a story behind it. These are also available as greeting cards.

The third is a series of ink and watercolour illustrations depicting a mischievous character called 'Ever So' who is ever so naughty, ever so quirky and ever so cheeky. She finds herself in all sorts of everyday scrapes but always manages her way out with a smile. The 'Ever So' Collection is available as greeting cards or as framed originals.
